This week at B.A.S.E we have been very excited for Halloween on Saturday. To get the kids in the Halloween spirit this week we have been doing projects that reflect the time of the season. Ms. Kristen has been doing Jack-O-Lanterns and candy corn projects. Mr. John has been doing create your own scary monster mask with the students. The favorite project of the week hands down was with Mr. Mike and his scary recipe where the kids took scary ingredients and made a ghoulish snack. Next week we are going to be getting into the election day spirit with U.S. Government Week.
This week at B.A.S.E was creepy crawlers week and the students had fun doing Many different fun buggy projects. Ms. Kristen’s project was making paper worms that we have been hanging up in the class room and that the students have had a blast making. Mr. John did a scary symmetry project with a Halloween theme that allowed the students to learn about symmetry. Our newest teacher Mr. Mike had a fun time getting to know the students better while doing his I am special project this week. Next week’s theme is Halloween so get ready for a fun week of activities leading up to the big day.
